About the Journal

The UCLM Journal of Research and Innovation is the refereed journal publication of University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue Campus (UCLM), envisioned as the principal venue to disseminate original, well-thought-out research outputs. The journal offers an open, and well-established forum for the publication of manuscripts from faculty, staff, students as well as external researchers/scholars from other institutions and research institutes.

As a refereed interdisciplinary academic publication, it aims to communicate original research and stimulate debate on, for example, the role of education in local, national and global citizenship; to promote the development of key skills in/for employment and life generally; as well as enable a culture of practice informed by critical argument through teaching management that is both fast-moving due to progress in technology. Based on international editorial and ethical criteria, the UCLM Journal of Research and Innovation pursues methodological quality, intellectual integrity and novelty through rigorous double-blind peer-review.

The journal aims to strengthen the University’s research culture, promote interdisciplinary and inter-institutional collaboration, enhance research productivity, and contribute to evidence-based practice, sustainable development, and societal transformation, thereby reaffirming UCLM’s commitment to excellence in research, innovation, and community-responsive scholarship.
